Krystal’s work with food is incredibly beautiful, while at the same time deeply thought (and action) provoking. I enjoy receiving the recipes she shares just as much as the story and meaning behind them- and I know you will too.

I immediately thought of Cree for this series because of the way she speaks to healing (especially with femme bodies) and how it is rooted in so much- from the natural world, to deep compassion, her Mexican heritage, and so much more. Receiving her newsletters at the start of her business Wise Woman Sanctuary, always felt like a big warm hug in themself, and I wanted to share her wisdom and being with you all. I think we can all make space to learn from healers right now.
Gretchen has been a long-time inspiration and someone who I worked with a few years ago in her Critical Conversations sessions through her business Weird Specialty. I felt called to ask Gretchen to take part in this series as she is a prominent voice for deep change that I align with: economically, environmentally, socially, creatively…and is someone who has her finger truly on the pulse.
“Homeward” aims to highlight some folks on here who I am continually inspired by, through a q+a and glimpse into the life of…in “AWD-vessel-form”.
